We met in NYC and had an amazing first date at ABC Cocina, a trendy Mexican restaurant in New York City. Dan chose this restaurant believing it would remind Monica of her hometown - Mexico City. Over dinner we realized that we had much in common starting with a shared familiarity of life in Mexico City where Dan had lived & worked for several years. While we overlapped by a few years our paths never crossed. Dan is now determined to speak fluent Spanish!
FEBRUARY 17, 2024
We got engaged in Central Park, New York City. Dan had intended to propose on this particular day and, as luck would have it, fresh snow had fallen that morning which made for a magical setting. After a late afternoon stroll through the park, Dan proposed to Monica. Amazingly there was no one else around other than a close friend who Dan had pre-arranged to capture the special moment. Monica was caught completely by surprise and overcome with joy!

From Mexico City Airport take an Uber or official taxi to your hotel.

Mexico is a very easy country to enter/exit. You will need a valid passport. Upon arrival you will be required to complete a short form.

The majority of countries do not require a visa. Please confirm travel requirements online based on your passport & country of origin. Reach out directly to Dan if you need any assistance and he will provide support through the wedding planner.

Language: Spanish, with a significant percentage of the population fluent in English.

Currency: 1 USD = ~17 MXN (Mexican Peso). Credit/debit cards are widely accepted. Good idea to have a few Mexican pesos on you which you can obtain at the airport or at your hotel.
